Taste Festival — London

This year’s Taste Festival has some awesome themes to really celebrate some popular flavours. This year there’ll be the fire pit, which covers barbecued food and all outdoor cooking for hints of smokiness and flames. Chefs such as Tom Anglese from the Great British Menu, will be there to lift the spit and fan the flames. Then there’s the wild garden, which is there to look at vegetables and plant life, teaching new skills linked to sourcing food from a natural environment and how to prepare it — from garden to grill! You can’t have a food festival without some good tunes, provided by renowned DJs alongside some cooking masterclasses taught by chefs, such as River Cottage tutor and founder, Steven Lamb. These really will be cooking from scratch using different skills, such as bread making. It’s food preparation right from the source, and for festival-goers who want to grow their own, Sustain will be providing some talks and workshops to tell you all about how you can do with this, depending on what it is you want to grow.

Pub in the Park

Michelin star chef Tom Kerridge is behind this tasty and music-fuelled event, whether you want to dance and chill out to your favourite acts or are keen to sample top-quality pub chef cooking from across the country. Luckily for us, the event travels across the UK, including locations at Marlow, Leeds, Chiswick, Tunbridge Wells and Bath, among others. Wherever you are, there’ll be one near you.

There’ll be entertainment from a mix including Stereo MCs, Basement Jaxx, KT Tunstall and Soul II Soul. This will be teamed up with a range of Gastro pub pop-up eateries preparing all sorts of hearty grub that’ll make your stomach sing.

The events are happening between May and September, so check out the dates your nearest events are happening here.

London Coffee Festival

Can’t get enough of coffee? Do you love experiencing the warming and almost sensuous flavour of coffee from around the world? This one’s for you.

With at least 250 types of coffee being showcased and the chance for sampling and soaking up those delicate and sumptuous flavour, there’s sure to be a full-on caffeine buzzing atmosphere. And what goes best with a coffee? Pastries, cake , anything sweet and sugary.

Enjoy your delicacies with mindfulness sessions, demonstrations and music from the likes of Hollie Rodgers, the Fugitive Orchestra and Madeleine Mayi. This event’s happening between 2nd-5th April 2020 so there’s plenty of time to find out more and book tickets.
